In a tragic incident, a shooting incident near East Las Vegas saw the death of one man. The incident occurred on Sunday at the 3900 block of East Charleston Boulevard. According to the Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Lt., Ray Spencer said that the shooting happened at 11 a.m.

It was revealed that the man suffered fatal injuries. Upon arriving, the police officers found a man in his late 40’s suffering from multiple wounds from the shooting incident near East Las Vegas. He was immediately rushed to University Medical Center. The man could not sustain his injuries and died at the hospital.

Police said that the shooting occurred in the parking lot of Pep Boys at 3995 E. Charleston Blvd.  The man was in the process of hooking his vehicle to another to tow it when another person arrived at the scene approached the man and began shooting him multiple times and left the scene. It is yet to be confirmed by the Police whether the two men knew each other.

Spencer said the witnesses at the scene of the incident saw the gunman fleeing from the scene after shooting the victim. The identity of the deceased man will be revealed by the Clark County coroner’s office.
